Healthy Vegan Snack Every Day

When you need a healthy vegan snack, a piece of your favorite fruits or vegetables is always the best solution. Just cut your carrots or celery into smaller pieces, and you will have a tasty little meal. Full of vitamins and minerals, easy to prepare and ready to serve in seconds, vegetables are great for your figure as well.

Fresh and dried fruits should always be in your home. When you need something sweet, pure natural sweets are the best. Besides, some fruits can also be very effective in fighting diseases, for example apricots. They contain vitamin B17, especially in their seeds. Collect and dry seeds, and you can use them afterwards, as a great source of this valuable vitamin.

When buying fruits, make sure they are organically grown. You don't need dangerous chemicals in your diet. It's always better to buy fruits when it's their season. You can also buy dried fruits, unsweetened, of course. It's easy to prepare dried fruits in your kitchen also. Just slice them into thin slices and put into your oven preheated on 40 or 50 degrees.

If the weather is nice and warm, you can dry your fruits on the sun. Slice it and place the pieces on clean paper towels. Cover everything with a piece of gauze, to protect your fruits from insects. Once dried, fruits can be stored in paper bags for a few weeks at least.

Try making apple chips. Everybody loves these healthy snacks. Slice the apples and sprinkle them with cinnamon, they will taste even better this way. An hour or two in your oven will be enough, and you will have perfectly tasty chips to serve to your guests. Remember to use baking paper.

Dry fruits are just perfect for making delicious little snacks you will absolutely adore. Combine chopped dry fruits with your grains, add some honey and a squeeze of lemon juice, to make a pastry. You don't need to bake it, just spread it on baking paper in thin layer, and cut on smaller pieces. Once dry, it will be delicious.

You can also make these delicious coconut balls. You will need some coconut flour and a small can of organic condensed coconut milk, a few cups of minced almonds and something to sweet everything, maybe honey or maple syrup. Put your almonds, honey and coconut milk in a bowl. Add some coconut flour, and form small balls. Roll your balls in coconut flour and leave them to dry. You can replace condensed coconut milk with smaller dosage of almond milk, if you like.

Peanut chocolate balls have too much calories to count them very carefully, but they taste incredibly good. Every once in a while you should prepare something that will rise your endorphin, anyway. This dessert is really easy to prepare. Organic, low fat pure cocoa, some brown sugar and organic peanut butter will make the base. Form a small ball, roll it in cocoa powder and repeat the procedure. It might be messy to prepare these balls, but they can still be called a healthy vegan snack, and taste just great.
