Authentic Mexican Restaurant Silverthorne Colorado

By J. Jubilee

College is the ideal time to discover beer and Mexican food. College is the ideal cultural melting pot. Suddenly, we're living on our own without our parents. We're making decisions for ourselves.

Here's mine: ultimate frisbee and Mexican food. College is a very unique time in our lives. Suddenly, we're living on our own in a university dormitory.

It's then time for university where we get to experience diversity. For some it is the very first time to meet people from other nations. These individuals are what make your university life enjoyable. It is all a wonderful benefit of the college experience. Remember living in dorms away from you parents for the first time in your life?

The very first real Mexican food experience is one we'll never forget. Typically, our college buddies were the people who took us there. Maybe, the bait was for just a great beer special. Often the inspiration is something other than food for us. Maybe it was ladies night.

Our very first genuine Mexican food experience is one we'll never forget. We were introduced there by individuals close to our heart. Perhaps we just really wanted cheap booze. Men are not only motivated alcohol alone. Girls influence our decisions too.

Although there will come a day when we are too old for ultimate. Mexican food will always remain a passion. There's nothing else that fulfills that craving like the cuisine from an authentic Mexican restaurant.

As time passes old fraternity brothers fade into the past. At one time that thought alone seemed un-thinkable. For a very short time we were all so close. We all shared common goals and single-mindedness. But, all that has passed and a few things remain.

As we grow older our priorities change. Your pals from college now have their own lives. They have wives, kids and careers. Perhaps they've grown stuffy and full of status. Perhaps their financial standing stops them from going to that awesome, small Mexican bistro. Their children are very unfortunate not to experience these things until they're in college. Either way, the whole cycle repeats.

We all hope that those family owned, small Mexican restaurants stay around forever. Their existence is threatened by corporate globalism. Authentic Mexican culture is replaced with phony franchises. Will our kids and their children still have the luxury of taking pleasure in real Mexican cuisine?
