One of that reasons is that there are a lot of health benefits and advantage that one can get in juicing. Compared to drinking canned juices and soda, fresh fruit and vegetable juice are healthier and offers a lot of benefits to the body. Aside from that, the body is able to quickly absorb nutrients, vitamins and minerals from fresh fruit and vegetable juices. It is safe to say therefore, that juicing can help in decreasing the possibility of contacting most of society's health problems and diseases and it also has the capacity to increase your energy and improve health and nutrition. The following are tips that you can use when juicing:

-Placing your juicer in the kitchen is recommended in order for you to be reminded every time to use it and consume fresh fruit and vegetable juice instead of ready to drink juices. This step will also help you to make it a healthy habit of making your own fresh juice and will also be more convenient for because you don't have to reach into the cupboard or any other place that you put your juicer into if you want to set it up and use it.

-It is necessary to appropriately prepare fruits and vegetables that you are planning to juice before you juice them. Not only will you be able to save time, but you are assured that you are all ready to juice them once you decide to do so. In order to be able to prepare fruits and vegetables, you have to wash them properly to make sure that no dirt will be included in your juice. Placing your fruits and vegetables directly under running water is recommended than soaking them in water for washing. Preparation of your fruits and vegetables may also include making a decision whether to include the peel or not but it is important to know that there are certain kinds of fruits and vegetables wherein the peel also contains some of the nutrients. Therefore, if you think that the peel is clean enough and edible, you can opt not to peel your fruits and vegetables.

-You also need to know that there are fruits and vegetables that are larger than the juicer or the mouth of the juicer making it necessary for you to cut or slice them into cubes to facilitate easy juicing. Slicing your fruits and vegetables will make you juice faster and more efficiently. Also remember that one way to prevent damaging your juicer is to remove seeds and pits of fruits especially those large ones.

-Drinking your juice right after you have juiced it should be practiced always. It is not recommended to let your juice exposed to air for a long time or even stay in the refrigerator since tendency is that it will turn to brown because the juice will be oxidized. Juice that is oxidized has an awful taste and the nutrients are wasted. Pouring a spoonful of lemon juice into your juice will help to prevent oxidation if your juice is exposed to air. But still, drinking your juice right after juicing it is the best way to prevent oxidation and maximize the nutrients that you can get from the juice.

-Cleaning your juicer right after using it is important. The shredder should be removed from the body of the juicer to clean it thoroughly. Aside from that, a small toothbrush may also be used in order for you to remove small dirt that may have lodged into the juicer. To facilitate easy cleaning, always clean your juicer right after using to make sure that the juice and pulp has not dried up.
